Caramelised apple pound cake

Traiteur de Paris’ caramelised apple pound cake has a distinctively generous layer of caramelized apple delicately arranged over an all-butter Breton-biscuit base.

Instructions

Several options:
1. Leave to thaw for 12 hours at + 40°F
2. For frozen cake :
a.Heat in preheated oven for 30 minutes at 320°F
b.For a thawed cake : 10 min at 320°F
3. For a frozen single portion :
a.Microwave oven 1 min 30 sec 800W
b.For a defrosted single portion : 30 s at 800W and allow to rest for 5 to 10 minutes before eating.
